I went there with my friend and asked if they sold a blouse my size and one lady immediately went no without even asking for my size. That was odd because all the other sari places i went to after atleast carried a 44 size blouse. when i came back later to ask for fabric to make a blouse, the same lady taunted me by asking if i was making a blouse because i couldnt find one in my own size. Whatever happened to customer service and being nice.

My sister and I came in with no knowledge of what we would need to wear for a wedding, (also only two days away from wedding). We were greeted at the door and immediately taken care of. The woman that helped us was so kind, warm, and comfortable. She brought us to the rack of options and knew what size would fit us best, she was so encouraging and helpful. We were able to try on many options, and they have a tailor available next door for day of alterations. Everything was so beautiful! We left so happy with our purchases. Cannot recommend enough!!! Thank you!!!

The staff is very rude. The bengali lady near the jewelry stand of the store is exceptionally rude. We asked her for the price of a pair of earrings and the first question she asked was what is your budget. Like if we are asking you for the price then why are you asking for our budget. Answer the question we asked. How can you ask such questions? She made us feel as if we can't afford anything in the store. We are not cheap like other people of her kind are. We have self respect which her type of people definitely lack. Stupid women.

Don't come here if you are not indian/bengali/know what you are doing or looking for – They will be helpful and then charge you 3x the amount. Was looking for an outfit for an indian wedding and asked for help. I didn't want to spend too much but left with an outfit (of poor, F21-like quality) for $135. I thought it was just the way things were. This was plain fabric, no embroidery, no beading, nothing. Went to the tailor and there was a beautiful dress hanging there - the tailor told me it was $50. It was embroidered with beadwork etc. And when I told the tailor I paid $135 for my outfit, she let out an "oh my god." And that is when I knew they ripped me off really badly. Don't come here, trust me.

Oh they are horrendous. The employees are absolutely the worst. First of all, if you're not Indian, good luck getting anything for a fair price, because you won't. I came here with my friend Cristine a couple of weeks ago and she really liked a sari. Me being Indian attempted to bargain, but upon seeing my white friend, they were tight lipped. Later that week, my mom got the same sari we we're bargaining for at the bargained price. So basically they are racist, and sell and bargain upon your knowledge of the clothing. They rip off customers who are looking for a good deal. They are extremely exploitive. Buyer beware.

I'm sorry to have to leave such a horrible review since they were very friendly in person, but they ruined my sari top days before I'm leaving for a wedding in India. They 1.) put the fabric I asked to have on the front on the back. 2.) left 2 inches of extra fabric under the armpits of the top so I could not lower my arms. 3.) the sizing on the left side was different than the right side. 4.) the neck it not a perfect round shape and is totally uneven. And 5.) they tried to rush me out of the store after my 2nd fitting saying "it was all fine", when clearly they had damaged it even more. I've had better luck with Party City halloween costumes then I've had getting my top made here. For a place who's entire purpose is to custom make and tailor sari tops, their craftsmanship is an embarrassment. I would never recommend someone to waste their money here and if you choose to, have them measure you 2x at least and to read back your order 3x to make sure they do it perfectly.
